Meetings

GRSP meets at the Dallas County Road and Bridge District 1 site at 715 Rowlett Road in Garland. Scroll down for pictures of the entrance gate and door we use. Refreshments and fellowship begin at 9:30. Meetings start at 10:00.

• September 23: You can dress to show your State Fair Flare while we hear Garland ISD Superintendent Dr. Ricardo Lopez. Some members will be eating lunch at Don Burger after the meeting. 

• October 28: “Hello Girls” of World War I by Nelda Landrum

• November 18: Preventative Steps for Cyber-World Fraud by Gary Schepf and GRSP baked goods silent auction

• December 9: Holiday Luncheon with entertainment by the Garland High School Choir

• January 27: Nancy Payne Memorial Bingo Games for GRSP scholarships

• February 24: Financial Advisor John Congdon on Critical Financial Issues for Seniors

• March 24: Terror on the Transit by Officer Matt Pesta

• April 28: Better Than it Was, Revitalizing Your Mental Health During Retirement by Cynthia Clinton, MA, LPC-S
